I am an artist and an educator.
Much of my educational work has used art/ story telling/ drama/ puppets etc -techniques to enrich classroom learning. I have been able to get wonderful learning responses from these Art in Education techniques.
As an artist, I seem to prefer pen drawings, pencil on paper, charcoal, graphite. I am happiest with the simplest and most immediate medium. I am impressionistic.
I see characters and individuals in all living creatures- even in rats and roaches, and also in non living creatures. This helps me to make up amusing little stories- which I used to tell my children when they were small, and now I tell all of them- my daughter in law and anyone who will listen- thru the mail- luckily they still seem to like them. these stories bond my family- now grown beyond the dining table to far off places.
